Pro-Ion is the ultimate material for sealing entry doors. Pro-Ion is a unique urethane foam seal that stands up to temperature and time better than other seals.
Resistance to compression set, the ability of seals to spring back into shape after being squeezed repeatedly is the single most important factor in distinguishing sealing performance.
All doors move. When the weather gets warm, all doors expand. When it gets cold all doors contract. Expansion puts an extreme compressive load on a door seal. Contraction can remove a door from con­tact with the seal.
Pro-Ion door seal is designed and field proven to move with a door, through expansion and contraction. Pro-Ion will take severe compression and then re­bound into its original size and shape.
